Balsbaugh Insurance Agency, Inc. is a 2nd generation, family-owned and operated independent insurance agency located in Schaefferstown Lebanon County, PA. Amos J. Balsbaugh, Jr. started in 1961 by earning his insurance license and began offering insurance products to his local friends and neighbors. In 1977 Amos purchased an existing insurance agency here in Schaefferstown which is where we have been located and grown ever since.

We learned from Dad that our agency is much more than a business—it is a way to serve our friends, neighbors and communities in the local Lebanon Valley areas with honesty and integrity. We continue to use The Golden Rule to guide us today—“So in everything, do to others what you would want them do to you…” (Matthew 7:12, NIV).

Today, Amos’ children-–sons Mike & Todd Balsbaugh, daughter Kim as well as son-in-law Mike Landis—carry on the tradition of providing all clients with the insurance products best suited to their needs while fitting into their budget. We provide helpful, friendly service that makes insurance easy to understand.
